How to See Your Plausible Stats on the Desktop โ No Browser Tab Required
Short answer: install Wizible (free) on Windows 11, paste your Plausible API key, and pin the widget. Your visitors, trends, and goal conversions live in the Widgets Board โ press Win + W and they're there.
The dashboard-tab problem
Plausible's dashboard is genuinely lovely โ that's half the reason people switch from Google Analytics. But checking it still means: open browser โ find or reopen the tab โ wait for the dashboard โ glance at one number โ go back to work. Do that eight times a day (be honest, you do) and you've built a habit loop around a browser tab.
Ways people solve it: keeping a pinned tab (memory + distraction), a second monitor dashboard (dedicated hardware for one number), phone apps (context switch), or โ on Windows 11 โ putting the stats where the OS already has a glanceable surface: the Widgets Board.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work with self-hosted Plausible?
Not currently โ Wizible connects to Plausible Cloud (plausible.io). Self-hosted Community Edition support isn't available yet.
Which Plausible plan do I need?
One with Stats API access โ on Plausible Cloud that's currently the Business plan. If you don't see "API Keys" in your settings, that's why.
Is my API key safe in a widget?
The key is stored locally on your machine and used only to call Plausible's API. Wizible talks exclusively to plausible.io โ there's no middleman server.
Is Wizible really free?
Yes โ free on the Microsoft Store, no ads, no upsell. It's built by an indie dev who wanted his own stats one keystroke away.
